Waterfrontlaw is based in Annapolis, Maryland and focuses on riparian rights, community water access and real estate litigation. Its principal is J. Dirk Schwenk of Baylaw, LLC. Prior to forming Baylaw, Mr. Schwenk was a founding member of Lochner and Schwenk, LLC, which was active in riparian rights and maritime law in Annapolis beginning in 1999. Since separating from that firm, Mr. Schwenk focuses on Maryland real property and riparian rights, maritime and admiralty law, vessel tax and transfer and complex civil litigation. He is also a licensed Maryland boat broker.
